Privacy Policy
Jenton Global LLC
Effective Date: May 11, 2026
Jenton Global LLC (“Jenton,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our products and services, including Salesforce Revenue Intelligence for Power BI and related offerings listed on Microsoft AppSource and the Salesforce AppExchange (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Information You Provide
- Business contact information (name, email address, company name, phone number) provided during onboarding, account setup, or support inquiries
- Authentication tokens and OAuth credentials provided or generated for the purpose of connecting to your Salesforce instance and Microsoft Power BI environment during implementation and ongoing service delivery
- Communications you send us, including support requests and implementation feedback
b. Data Accessed During Service Delivery
- Salesforce data accessed via API during implementation is used solely to build, test, and validate your configured reports and semantic model. This data is processed in-memory or in transient compute sessions and is not persisted to Jenton-controlled storage. Any cached data used during configuration is deleted within 24 hours of session completion.
- Power BI datasets and workspaces we administer on your behalf remain in your own Microsoft tenant and are not transferred to Jenton infrastructure
- We do not retain copies of your underlying Salesforce or Power BI data after implementation is complete
c. Product Data Architecture
- The Services are designed to operate entirely within your existing Microsoft and Salesforce environments. Your business data does not leave your tenant.
- The Services do not include a standalone web application with user login, session tracking, or behavioral analytics
- We may collect limited, anonymized product telemetry (e.g., feature usage counts, error rates) to improve product reliability. This telemetry does not include your business data, personal information, or any content from your Salesforce or Power BI environments.
d. Usage and Technical Information
- Basic metadata about how you interact with our support channels (e.g., email correspondence timestamps and subject lines)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver, configure, and support the Services you have purchased
- Communicate with you about your implementation, maintenance plan, or support requests
- Improve our products, internal processes, and product reliability through anonymized telemetry
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in delivering the Services (e.g., email communication platforms, cloud infrastructure), subject to confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary. A current list of subprocessors is available upon request by contacting info@jentonbi.com.
- Microsoft: As part of operating within the Microsoft Power BI and Azure ecosystem, the Services interact with Microsoft APIs (including the Power BI REST API) to publish and manage reports within your tenant. These interactions are subject to Microsoft’s privacy practices.
- Salesforce: As part of accessing your Salesforce instance via API, Jenton uses OAuth-authenticated connections to retrieve data for report configuration. Your use of Salesforce is separately governed by Salesforce’s own privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Jenton or others.
We do not share your business data or client data with other Jenton customers under any circumstances.
4. Data Retention
- We retain business contact information for as long as we maintain an active customer relationship with you, or as required by law.
- OAuth tokens and authentication credentials used for Salesforce and Power BI connections are stored in secured internal systems with access limited to authorized Jenton personnel. Tokens are refreshed and re-validated at regular intervals. You may revoke access at any time by contacting us or by revoking application permissions directly within your Salesforce or Microsoft environments.
- We do not retain copies of your underlying Salesforce or Power BI data after implementation is complete.
5. Data Security
Jenton takes reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Access controls limiting credential and token access to authorized personnel only
- TLS 1.2 or higher for all data in transit
- Encryption at rest for stored authentication tokens and credentials
- No storage of customer business data on Jenton-controlled infrastructure; data remains in your Microsoft and Salesforce tenants
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to handling your information responsibly.
6. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a confirmed security breach affecting your personal information or authentication credentials, Jenton will notify affected customers without unreasonable delay, and in no event later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach. Notification will include a description of the nature of the breach, the categories of data affected, and the measures taken or proposed to address the breach.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.
For data stored within your own Microsoft or Salesforce environment, those platforms’ respective tools and privacy settings govern your access and control.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, please see our supplemental GDPR disclosures (available upon request) for information about our role as a data processor, the legal basis for processing, and cross-border transfer mechanisms.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18 (or 21 in jurisdictions where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Material changes will be communicated to active customers via email. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
